Privacy Policy — My Pocket Trainer

My Pocket Trainer ("the app") is a workout planning and tracking app. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.
Data we collect
- Account data: email address, user ID and nickname, used to sign you in and sync your data.
- Profile data: age, gender, height and body weight, used to personalise your training plan.
- Workout data: your plans, completed sets and achievements.
- Profile picture: if you sign in with Google, the address of your Google profile picture, shown in the rating and to administrators.
- Messages: text messages you send in the in-app chat to administrators, trainers or friends, and friend requests.
- Exercises you add: the name and muscle group of an exercise you add are also sent to the administrators, so that they can add it to the app.
- Trainers: if you order a trainer's guidance or become a trainer, your onboarding answers and your role are shared with that trainer or with the administrators.
- Activity: the time you were last in the app.
- Advertising data: the app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID. See Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
How we use it
To provide the app's features, sign you in, sync your workouts between devices, personalise plans, let you chat with trainers and administrators, and show ads. We do not sell your personal data.
Storage and sharing
Your data is stored in Google Firebase and encrypted in transit. We share data only with Google (Firebase, AdMob) as needed to run the app. We do not share it with anyone else.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account). This removes your account and your data from our servers. You can also request deletion by email.

The app is intended for users aged 16 and over.
